Choir - Grades 3-8

From those who have no experience singing to those that are experienced singers, choir is the place for you. The choir group meets Wednesdays after school in the music room. This program is free of charge and runs from 3:30-4:30.

Drama - Grades 6-8

The Forest Hills Drama Club is a group of dedicated students from grades 6 – 8, who meet once a week to develop their reading and performance skills.

Using the Reader’s Theatre style, two shows are rehearsed throughout the year. At Christmas, we perform for the younger grades in the afternoon and have a fund raiser for the school in the evening. Some time in June we perform our second play and follow the same format for the community.

This is a literacy focused activity and all children are welcome. Our two major goals are:

To achieve better reading fluency through practice,
To become confident individuals.

Variety Show - Middle School - Grades 6-8

An annual Forest Hills Variety show spectacular. A fine showcase of our talented Forest Hills Middle school students. Our variety show is held each May and usually takes place in our school gym. Acts such as singing, dancing, acting etc.

Dance - Grades 4-8

We have an elementary dance group for grades four and five students that meet for classes on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 and a middle school dance team of students from grade six, seven and eight that meet for classes Tuesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 At the end of the year, to celebrate our achievements, the dance groups perform the numbers within the school and sometimes take their performances out of Forest Hills for the community at large to enjoy.
